Configuring Netscape Mail 6.2.1 For Your Account.
For more info about setting up accounts in Netscape E-mail see your help files.
 

1. Open Netscape Mail
2. If you are using netscape mail for the first time you will get this prompt.



3. Click the Radio Button that says 'ISP or email provider' or something similar to that.
4. To continue click 'Next'
5. You will see something like the following:



6. Next enter your e-mail address. If you're setting up your default e-mail account you can put anything in the 'Email Address' field.
7. Make sure that the e-mail you entered is in the form of ' e-mail-address@Yourdomain.com ' without the quotes. Click next.
8. Now you should see the 'Server Imformation' window.
9. In the 'Incoming Server:' field type in Mail.Yourdomain.com make sure to replace Yourdomain.com with your actual domain.
10. In the 'Outgoing Email Server' field enter mail.yourdomain.com in the 'Outgoing Server' field.
11. Make sure that POP is selected before clicking next.



12. Next, you should see the 'User Name ' Window
13. Type in your account's user name. (note: If this a POP account enter the POP account name and @Yourdomain.com
       I.E. Mypopaccount@Yourdomain.com )



14. Next you should see the 'Account Name' Window.
15. You can enter anything you like but to keep things organized we will use Youremail@Yourdomain.com Click next.



16. Next, review the settings. If they are correct click 'finish'.



17. That's it. You have setup your first Netscape e-mail account.
